("UPMI," "we" or "us") with respect to your use of our Web site located at www.upmisteam.com (the "Site") so you may make an informed decision about using our Site. By using our Site, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy, as may be modified by us from time to time. We reserve the right to change the provisions of this Policy at any time. How do we use the personal information you provide to us?

You can navigate through our Site without providing any personal information. However, there are some activities, such as requesting products, which may require you to provide personal information by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional to request products. If you choose to request a product via our Site, you will be asked to provide personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address, e-mail address, company, telephone number, facsimile number, and other information. When ordering online, you will be asked to provide a credit card number. Some of this information will be listed as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory information, you will not be able to complete your request. Your information will not be sold for commercial use.

In general, we use the personal information we collect to process your requests, donations or to provide you with information or services you request, to inform you about other information, campaigns, or services, and for the purpose for which the information was provided. How we protect your personal information online:

UPMI website uses eBay and PayPal for all monetary transactions to ensure the security of our donor's identity. We have diligently worked to put into place reasonable security measures in an effort to protect personal information while it is under our control. Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. You should also note that e-mail is not secure, and you should not send any confidential or sensitive information to us via an unsecured e-mail. To protect the confidentiality of personal information, you must keep any password used on the Site confidential and not disclose it to any other person. You are responsible for all uses of our Site by any person using your password. Please advise us immediately if you believe your password is being misused.

What choices do you have regarding the use of your information?

We will send you upon subscription our e-Newsletter, updates, and information via e-mail. You may choose not to receive our communications. If you choose not to receive communication from UPMI STEAM, please notify UPMI at any time either through the opt-out link in the footer of every e-mail or by calling customer service at (205) 755-4744. Please note, however, that you may not “opt-out” of receiving service-related communications such as account-related e-mails from UPMI.

Our Site contains links to other Web sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of Web sites to which we link. Links from our Site to third parties or to other Web sites are provided for your convenience. Generated content from a user:

As part of our Site, we give the user an opportunity to express their thoughts, opinions, and ideas via user-generated content forums such as blogs, message boards and/or chat rooms. Although we make an attempt to monitor this user-generated content forum on a regular basis, we are not responsible in any way for the content contained therein. Furthermore, any information which may be posted on a user-generated content forum or which you may post on a user-generated content forum, including your personally identifiable information, by definition will be publicly disclosed and available to all users of that forum, and is therefore no longer private. As a consequence, you cannot and should not have any expectation of privacy relative to that information. By using the user-generated content forums, you agree that UPMI is not responsible for any information that you disclose or communicate online in such user-generated content forums, and any disclosures you make are at your own risk.
