Our mission is to empower and inspire while providing underserved, underprivileged and under-resourced students access to STEAM learning and programs.  UPMI STEAM provides programs that are curriculum-based in five specific disciplines—science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Rather than teach the five disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, UPMI STEAM learning integrate these disciplines into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications. 
 

 

UPMI STEAM learning center—BRAZIL, our flagship overseas center located at: Conjunto Parque Sanata Rita. Caminho 40 casa 01 Itinga, 42740-005, Lauro de Freitas, BA, Brazil, will apply a ‘cradle to career’ teaching philosophy for the youth in the favela.  Not only arming them with the skills and knowledge they need to compete and thrive, but also helping them to acquire the necessary tools to seek and obtain employment.  We will judge our success by the eventual employment of our students and their positive impact on their communities.

Many Children have limited opportunities and a fleeting hope of meaningful employment in their future.  Our programs and learning centers are developed to tackle this problem head on with the help of our strategic and educational partners, sponsors, donors and those who see the importance of education for all.
