Changing the world one child at a time...
UPMI STEAM provides unique STEAM programs, camps, tours and learning centers for underprivileged, under-resourced and underserved students in communities around the world. Our goal is to strengthen communities through improving students’ future prospects by providing access to STEAM education and resources:
Technology (i.e., computers, software, E-learning, etc.)
Instructional hands-on learning
Trained professionals and mentorship from all over the world
Safe and healthy STEAM learning environments
Innovative STEAM teaching techniques and programs
Our mission is to empower and inspire while providing underserved, underprivileged and under-resourced students access to STEAM learning and programs. UPMI STEAM provides programs that are curriculum-based in five specific disciplines—science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Rather than teach the five disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, UPMI STEAM learning integrate these disciplines into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.
UPMI STEAM learning center—BRAZIL, our flagship overseas center located at: Conjunto Parque Sanata Rita. Caminho 40 casa 01 Itinga, 42740-005, Lauro de Freitas, BA, Brazil, will apply a ‘cradle to career’ teaching philosophy for the youth in the favela. Not only arming them with the skills and knowledge they need to compete and thrive, but also helping them to acquire the necessary tools to seek and obtain employment. We will judge our success by the eventual employment of our students and their positive impact on their communities.
Many Children have limited opportunities and a fleeting hope of meaningful employment in their future. Our programs and learning centers are developed to tackle this problem head on with the help of our strategic and educational partners, sponsors, donors and those who see the importance of education for all.

October the 12th, 2021 is Kid's Day in Brazil
UPMI STEAM Learning Center Brazil unveiled its Phase 2 on October 12th, 2021, after several successful kids and family outreach activities in the favela of Itinga, Brazil, in conjunction with local community groups and Lokos Da Favela. This special day was packed with fun, education, health, wellbeing instruction, gifts, food and celebrities from around the world. Joining us live was the amazing Mr. Motivator, MBE, global health and wellbeing coach. Mr. Motivator presented his special workout for the kids, streamed live from the UK! The front runner, our mother of STEM teaching, Estella Pyfrom, CEO of Estella's Brilliant Bus was one of our consultants for this special day.
Funds raised went to provide sports programing and to keep our STEAM learning center available for the children of the favela. Our goal is to empower these underprivileged children to reach beyond the expectations and become leaders and positive contributors in their communities. Your help is needed to complete Phase 3.
